Christopher Martinez, 17
Denver, Colorado

Is another survivor who suffers from his use of air duster. Chris started huffing air duster at age 11 and nearly died last year when he passed out alone in his room. when his mom came home from work she saw Chris slumped over his computer desk and with an air duster can in his lap. she quickly called 911 and paramedics quickly arrived at their house and revived him in the emergency room. Chris survived but lost a portion of his brain. Chris had to learn to walk and speak again but his doctor believes that he will never fully recover. Chris isn't even able to go to his school with his friends. He now is in a special needs program but will graduate later this year. Last month Chris release a statement to the public saying "air duster isn't a good thing. i was using it and i thought i was really cool and alot of girls liked me and now i cant be smart like i used to be no more" it is sad seeing what kids will go through to fit in with the cool crowd I hope for the best for this poor child.

Cabrina Medicine horse, 12
Bute, Montana

WARNING HER STORY IS QUITE GRAPHIC:
Cabrina was a staight A student in her junior high school and always did the right thing and stayed away from drugs but, one mistake costed her life. Cabrinas mother told police that she was sitting peacefully in her room studying for a test when Cabrinas cousin and two friends knocked on the door. Linda (cabrinas mother) opened and welcomed the three girls saying "come in cabrina needs some time to have fun" and today Linda regrets ever letting them in. when Linda left to work one of the girls pulled a can of airduster out of her bag and asked Cabrina to try it for the first time. Cabrina not knowing that it was a deadly gas tried it for fun and after her third hit everyone heard a pop looking around the room wondering where it came from they saw Cabrina bent over her bead trying to breath and thrashing violently around her room and throwing up blood. Minute later she fell on her bed and died from lung combustion. To put it simply, her lungs popped and their wasn't anything to do about it but watch her suffer.

Emily Swanson ,15 (left)
Tallahassee Florida

died on thursday Febuary 25th 2010 as she and her friend where doing airduster and playing her nintendo. Reports say that Emily collapsed and when her friend checked to see if she was okay. she saw that Emilys heart was still beating, her eyes were still open but she was not breathing. Five minutes later Emily died from complete muscular shutdown. Emily's muscles could not move meaning she could not speak, breathk, or scream but she was still consciouse in the last minutes of her life. I couldn't imagine the horror that Emily must have fealt.
